Student: I am here to study English and travel.

           입학허가서 가지고 있나요?

Student: Yes I do

Officer: Is this your first time to visit Canada?
           캐나다 방문은 처음이세요?

Student: I'm going to study ESL program and  travel for 6 months.
           6개월정도 머무르면서 영어공부도 하고 여행도 할 계획입니다.

Officer: Where are you staying?
           어디서 머무나요?

Student: I'm staying with a homestay family. Here's the address.
           홈스테이에서 머물거구, 주소는 여기에 있습니다.

Officer: How much money did you bring to cover expenses in Canada?
           캐나다에서 쓸돈을 얼마나 가지고 왔습니까?

Student: I have C$3,000 in travel's cheques and cash.
             I heard international students are able to open account here,
             So I will get money from my parents in Korea.
             캐쉬랑 여행자수표로 해서 $3,000 캐네다 달러로 가지고 왔구요
            은행오픈이 가능하다고 해서 오픈후에 부모님한테 비용을 지원받을 겁니다

Officer: Do you have a return ticket to Korea?
            한국으로 돌아갈 리턴티켓은 있나요?

Student: Yes, here's my return ticket.

Student : Yes, here you are.
             네, 여기 있습니다.

Officer : Ok, you need to go to the immigration office. Please turn left and report to the immigration office for an interview.
            네, 이민국에서 체류허가를 해줄 것입니다. 왼쪽편의 이민국으로 이동하여서 인터뷰 후 체류허가를 받으시길 바랍니다.

Student : Yes, Thank you.

            얼마나 여기서 머무실 건가요 ?

Student : I`m planning to study English for 1 year.
             1년 동안 캐나다에 머물면서 영어를 공부할 계획입니다.

Officer : What did you do in Korea ?
            한국에서 직업은 무엇입니까 ?

Student : I have been working as a customer service representative at ABC Company for 1 year. I began working there after i graduated from University until last month. I`m talking a one year break from work and will return to work when i go back to Korea.
작년에 대학을 졸업하고 지난달까지 1년 동안 ABC Company 에서 고객 상담을 했습니다. 회사는 1년 휴직을 했으며, 한국으로 돌아가서 다시 복직할 것입니다.

Officer : Can you elaborate what your responsibilities were at work ?
            회사에서는 구체적으로 어떤 일을 했나요 ?

Student : I was in charge of supporting customers when they had any questions or complaints about our company`s service.
             저희 회사의 서비스에 불만이나 문의사항을 가지고 있는 고객들을 상담해주는 업무였습니다.

Officer : Do you plan to work in  Canada as well ?
            캐나다에서도 일을 할 계획이 있나요 ?

Student : No, I don`t. I will return to Korea after I`ve studied English for 1 year.
             아니요, 1년 동안 영어공부를 마치고 한국으로 돌아갈 것입니다.

Officer : Where are you going to stay in Canada ?
            캐나다에서는 어디에서 머무실 건가요 ?

Student : I`m staying with a homestay family. Here`s the homestay information.
             홈스테이에서 머물 것이며 여기 홈스테이 정보가 있습니다.

Officer : Ok, thank you so much. Here`s your study permit. You have been approved for 6 month to cover your study period. If you want to stay longer, you need to extend your study visa status. You are not authorized to work while you are in Canada. Enjoy your time in Canada.
